A Base Camp Leasing professional agent plays a critical role in this relationship. Leasing Agent Role
The perfect candidate should possess a deep passion and extensive knowledge of whitetail deer hunting, coupled with a strong desire to contribute to the growth of our leasing program. It is essential for the ideal agent to effectively communicate the Base Camp Leasing model to both landowners and hunters, while maintaining a professional demeanor that represents the company in the best possible light. Collaboration with a team of independent agents nationwide is also a crucial aspect of this role.
Responsibilities of the agent include meeting and following up with landowner leads within a designated territory, conducting property inspections, completing necessary paperwork, and inputting listing agreements into our proprietary software program. Some travel will be required to various properties, which may occasionally involve overnight stays. As an independent agent, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule while adhering to company guidelines.
Experience and knowledge of the outdoors and hunting
Identifying wildlife sign and appreciation for what a property can offer for hunting access is a must. Knowledge of good habitat for whitetails, turkeys, upland game, small game etc. will serve you well.
Complete daily and weekly tasks in a timely manner
Agents will need to complete an array of daily tasks in a prompt manner for agent success.
Liaison between landowners and hunters
If needed assist in mediation between landowners and hunters.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Present written and oral skills that will reflect oneself and the company in a professional way.
Maintain a professional demeanor when representing as an agent
Professionalism when representing the company or oneself is required by all agents.
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Detail-oriented individuals will excel in leasing agent success.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and computer operating.
Possess the knowledge and skills of basic computer functions and accurately enter data in our CRM system.
