EVELYN & TERRY WEST

Husband and wife team Evelyn and Terry West both harvested bucks on opening day of Indiana firearms season this year.  They have leased in Warren County, Indiana for 4 years and have always had success.  As Terry stated, “All you have to do is be there and you’ll get something.  We’ve harvested deer every year.  The most memorable  season was 2 years ago when I shot a 180″ with an 11” drop tine, which is rare, and Evelyn got a nice buck as well.  We had them mounted on the same mount.”On the West family bucket list?  “We’d like to bear hunt somewhere, probably out of state for a few days.”

How did Evelyn get interested in hunting?  “She sat with me one day and she was hooked after that.  We literally spend all Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the property during deer season.”
