Why do I need a paid membership instead of just using a free account?

Prime hunting ground moves fast. Wall Hanger members get a full 7-day head start over lower tiers to view and reserve properties. By the time a lease reaches free members, the top properties are typically already under a hold deposit or paid in full.

Can I upgrade my tier mid-season?

Yes. You can upgrade from Free, Fork Horn, or 8 Point to Wall Hanger at any point in your account dashboard to immediately gain earlier viewing windows and additional saved search slots.

How does a hold deposit work?

A hold deposit lets you take a property off the market immediately. This locks out all other hunters while you review directions, walk the parcel, and finalize payment.

Can I physically walk and inspect the property before paying in full?

Yes. Once a hold deposit is placed, you receive full driving directions, aerial boundaries via Google Maps, and direct contact details for the local leasing agent so you can walk the terrain and verify access points.

Can I split the lease and add hunting partners?

Yes. While one member places the hold and secures the contract, you can include approved group members on the final lease agreement up to the property’s maximum hunter capacity.

Does a lease grant 100% exclusive hunting rights?

Yes. You and your listed hunting partners have exclusive hunting rights to the property for the entire term. Base Camp Leasing does not run day hunts or multi-party shared leases.

When will I receive a renewal notice?

About 7 weeks before the lease ends you will receive a renewal email and the new lease will appear in “My Current Leases”. If you don’t receive it, call the office at (866) 309-1507

When am I allowed to be on the property?

Once you have received confirmation from Base Camp Leasing that payment has been made in full and the lease has been signed, those who are on the lease are free to access the property.

Can I use a business check?

No. If paying by check, you must use a cashier’s check or money order.

Are the properties inspected before they are listed?

Leasing agents do inspect properties when they are originally listed for lease. Pictures that are shown on the listing are usually gathered during this initial inspection. Properties are not inspected annually by the leasing agent. Some of the photos could be several years old, depending on the property. If a property has not been physically inspected by an agent, the description will state it was uninspected.
